Jan Dressler
President, Dressler Stencil Company™
Jan Dressler is one of the most versatile designers in the market.  Her art is created with stencils from original drawings.  The drawings are digitized and laser cut in layers that allow her to obtain the fine detail and shading that has become her trademark.

For over 15 years, Jan Dressler has been the Stencil Diva, designing the most user friendly and widely recognized stencils for discriminating decorative painters and home hobbyists.  Known for her Trompe l'oeil designs, she is a master of realism. Jan's regular appearances on the top home decorating shows have made her very popular and widely recognized.  Her mission is to spread joy through art.

Editorial Review of Jan Dressler's Guide to Beautiful Stenciling :
Self-styled "stencil diva" Jan Dressler tells beginners everything they need to know to get started, gives experienced stencilers new techniques, and even enlightens experts with unique tricks that make the work go faster.  Each page explodes with color, creativity, information on the basics, and exquisite projects.  Paint a continuous frieze of antique roses, a beautiful bordered floor cloth, a checkerboard wallpaper repeat, and much more.  These techniques are so simple, easy to master, and appealingly illustrated that even the most timid home decorator will feel a surge of confidence as soon as she completes her very first stencil.
